NHE Homeowners Association continues to expand with 5 new communities in South Carolina
What started as a developer and builder of relatively small-scale residential subdivisions in the late 1960s has grown over the past five decades to become one of the Southeast’s leading property association and management companies. .
This growth is not slowing down either.
Based in Greenville Management of the NHE owners association has just brought in five other communities based in the state of Palmetto, which will represent 400 households in total. This brings the number of communities under the NHE umbrella to 80, totaling more than 17,000 homes, apartments and condominiums in 15 different states.
While the management of homeowners associations can be a somewhat overlooked or misunderstood industry, Eric Kohorn, vice president of association management at NHE, said the main focus of the business is reassurance.
“[Itâs about] maintain and improve the peace of mind of communities and their owners, âsaid Kohorn.
In many ways, NHE’s offerings are similar to the offerings of the communities they represent: turnkey, customizable housing to meet the needs of a variety of families – or in NHE’s case, a variety of communities.
The new NHE communities, all located in the upstate, are being developed by Meritage Homes and Ryan Homes. They understand:
Glen Parkview: a Meritage Homes community in the heart of Anderson County in Pelzer, comprising a single family ranch and two story homes located just off I-85 and Highway 29 in the Wren School District. The community offers three, four and five bedroom homes and a community park.
Echo Ridge Townhouses: a Meritage Homes enclave of 77 townhouses in Greer, with open floor plans and two-car garages. The outdoor hiking trails and meeting spaces have a fireplace and a dog park.
The Village at Chapel Green Townhomes: a Meritage Homes community of 83 townhouses in downtown Greenville.
Cooper Run Townhouses: a Ryan Homes townhouse community in the heart of Verdae that features up to four bedrooms, a flexible room, and a covered porch with fireplace.
Bleckley Trail: A Ryan Homes community in Anderson that has just started construction and will include three and four bedroom single family homes near the Civic Center and Whitehall Elementary School.
